“The Farm” 2020: – The drama of “Farm”: – I wore black

It was tough in the farmyard earlier this week, when great farmer Inger Cecilie Grønnerød (47) cast the first giant and assigned the role to 22-year-old Wiktoria Rønning.

The latter disagreed at all with the reasoning, which became a breeding ground for a heated discussion about whether the choice was correct or not. But no duel can be avoided anyway, and Rønning chose Drammen native Karianne Vilde Wølner (26) as the second champion.

The duo eventually fought a tug of war, and after intense competition, Rønning had to find himself defeated by the opponent. She is not very happy about it.

– I have such an extreme winning instinct and at one point I felt like I was in control. I think Karianne Vilde imagined she would win easily against me, and that she had a mental challenge that I managed to put up so much resistance, says the 22-year-old.

– I couldn’t do more

During the competition, she got what she describes as a total turn-on, which may have been the nail in the coffin for her. In tug of war, it is important that participants get three horseshoes in a box, but a mistake on Rønning’s part probably cost him the victory.

– I throw a horseshoe on the box and have to start over. One thing is that if you throw it a little further than the cash register you can grab it, but if you throw it too far so that the rope doesn’t get there, Mads (presenter Mads Hansen journaln.anm) hangs it up on the pole again, says, and continues:

– So we had been working for almost an hour. The mental rest there was enough that he couldn’t take it anymore. He had so much pain in his hands, blood was running and he could no longer hold the rope.

When Wølner finally got another horseshoe in his box, Rønning decided to give up.

– I just cried and bled. It was a battle I imagined winning, but couldn’t do more, he admits, revealing that it really wasn’t that bad having to leave the farm when it felt “full” during week four.

– What, instead, was heavy was traveling from Kjetil (Kjetil Kirk journ.anm.). He said it was up to me there so I mostly regretted it on his behalf, he continues.

That Kjetil Kirk (27) had to be left without his close friend on the farm, he describes as very heavy.

– The world fell apart when she turned off and I went completely black. The curtain is down and I can tell you that the room wouldn’t have been the same without her, Kirk tells Dagbladet.

In addition, the 27-year-old says that after leaving he struggled to find motivation and that the joy on the farm was gone.

– It’s true, as Wiktoria says, that I depended on her there. You can imagine when you lose your loved one – it was heavy, he admits.

Kirk describes the incident as the world sliding under his feet.

– I ran away from Parliament, I couldn’t bear to sit there. I went swimming far in the water and somehow escaped the problems, he says, and continues:

– It hurt a lot and I just wanted to get away from all the cameras and people. Suddenly, the joy went from ten to ten less.

Dagbladet, of course, can’t reveal how things are going with Kirk in the competition, but Rønning will now have a chance to fight on the farm through the “Farmen” secondary competition, “Torpet”.
