Crews from two cruises located in Kristiansand will not be able to land for fear of coronary infection. A total of 600 people.

There are two registered cruises in Norway, Viking Sun and Viking Jupiter, located at the southern village dock. They are waiting for the cruise industry to start again, which happens earlier this fall.

There are currently approximately 300 crew members on each ship, but these will eventually drop to a minimum of 80 on each ship, writes Fædrelandsvennen.

– On ships the crew lives very close. If an infection occurs, it will spread quickly. Therefore, all the rules of infectious protection that exist. They do not trust that Christian Christians or anyone else is free from infection. The crew is not allowed to disembark, except perhaps go to the dock inside the fences, says Morten Kinn, ship agent for the European Cruise Service, about the land rejection.

The shipping company is trying to send hundreds of crews home, but it depends on the countries of origin that receive them, which is not entirely problematic for some of them from Asian countries.
