The United States is among the countries in the world most affected by the ongoing pandemic. More than eight million cases of infection have been recorded and more than 200,000 people with COVID-19 have died in the United States.

– We are experiencing an increase in the number of cases of infection and in the number of patients admitted with covid-19, and we are at a critical point where we must make the numbers go in the right direction. We know what we have to do, we just have to do it, Judge Jenkins said Monday.
