Ola Brynhildsen (21) has so far been silent on the controversial move until he becomes a Molde player.

On Monday, it became clear that the young man is signing a 2.5-year contract with Molde as of July 1, when his contract with Stabæk expires.

This means that the berry club runs out of a transfer fee for its own shooting star.

The transition has created a huge hiatus among some Stabæk fans, who on Monday night hung a Judas banner outside the player’s mother’s home.

– It’s enough!

On Tuesday morning Eurosport announced that several banners had been hung at the Stabæk training ground, expressing its dissatisfaction with Brynhildsen.

– Now is enough, but if you still feel that you are being bullied, you just have to move on. I am very impressed that such small people manage to hang the banners so high, says parent and advisor Rune Brynhildsen.

After training with Stabæk on Monday, the 21-year-old apologized to the press and said “he won’t say anything now that the situation has turned around.”

On Tuesday morning, he tells VG that it will be like this until July, at least when it comes to questions about the transition and supporters’ reactions.

“Unfortunately I will not have any interviews while I am a Stabæk player,” Brynhildsen writes in a text message.

After a conversation with Stabæk’s media chief Oddbjørn Vistnes, he elaborates a new message:

– I just don’t want to talk about the transition right now, while I’m still employed at Stabæk, out of respect for the club, the fans and the boys. Ask that you respect him.

– He wants our players to line up for the press

Vistnes emphasizes that this is not a decision that Stabæk has made.

– As long as Ola is a Stabæk player and represents the club, I want him to stand up if asked. We want our players to face the press, the media manager tells VG.

– For example, if we have a series that begins on June 15 with Ola in the initial lineup, then I think it is natural to prepare for the press, but choose if you want to comment on Molde’s transition. You must choose which questions you want to answer. Although we can offer advice, we don’t want to put guides there, he says.
