Löfven talks to people about the situation of the crown in the country.

– Tonight I want to say some words that I want you to take with you to the winter darkness. During this year, the world has changed before our eyes.

This is how the Prime Minister of Sweden, Stefan Löfven, began his extraordinary speech to the people.

Such a speech to people has only happened three times before in Swedish history, reports NRK.

– And tonight, at the end of November 2020, it is clear that it will be a while before we can return to normal. So once again I will ask you something very difficult, but absolutely necessary, said Löfven.

Encourage people to cancel or postpone any unnecessary activities.

– Human health and life are still in danger, and the danger is increasing. More and more people are infected, more and more intensive care units are used to care for very sick covid patients, more and more people die.

Löfven says that Swedes should now work from home, as well as cancel all activities that could lead to more heart disease.

– Everyone must do more. Meet only people you live with. If you live alone, choose one or a maximum of two friends to hang out with, but keep your distance. Stay home at the slightest symptom and wash your hands often and thoroughly.

Also remember that more than 6,000 people have died of coronary heart disease in Sweden:

– What we as a country are doing wrong now, we will have to suffer on the side. What we are doing right now, we will enjoy later. What we do now will affect what the Lucia and Christmas celebrations will be like. Who will continue with us at Christmas. It may sound harsh and brutal, but it is as harsh and brutal as reality, says Löfven.

Although the Prime Minister believes that Sweden is in a critical phase of the crown pandemic, he has some words of encouragement for his own compatriots:

– For you who think that everything is dark now. The situation is not without hope. Sweden has been tested, but Sweden will stand firm.
