– A fantastic launch! NASA was approaching disaster when we took over. It is now (the federal agency, journal.anm.) Once again the “hottest” and most advanced space center in the world, outgoing US President Donald Trump writes on Twitter.
From night to Monday Norwegian time, NASA and SpaceX launched four astronauts on the Falcon rocket and the Dragon “Resilience” space capsule from the Kennedy Space Center in Florida on a course for the International Space Station (ISS). It is the first routine launch to the space station for NASA by a private company.
A great launch! @POT It was a closed mess when we took over. Now it is once again the “hottest” and most advanced space center in the world, by far! https://t.co/CDCGdO74Yb

– Congratulations to NASA and SpaceX on today’s launch. This confirms the power of science and what we are capable of achieving by harnessing our innovation, ingenuity and determination. I join all Americans and Japanese and wish the astronauts “Goodspeed” on the journey, writes incoming President Joe Biden in Twitter.
At 01:42, CNN writes that the space capsule has been released and is moving freely into space.
The launch marks several historic moments. This is also the second time in history that the Falcon rocket has been used to send people into space.
According to plan, the space capsule will arrive at the space station on Monday night or until Tuesday Norwegian time. The four astronauts Michael Hopkins, Victor Glover, Shannon Walker and Japan’s Soichi Noguchi will be there until spring 2021.
SpaceX founder and CEO Elon Musk followed the launch from a distance due to crown rules at the Kennedy Space Center, NTB writes. Musk wrote early Monday on Twitter that he probably has a mild case of covid-19.
