Ståle Solbakken (52) has accepted his punishment for breach of the quarantine obligation.
The new director of the Norwegian national team informs VG.
– 20,000 fine accepted by me now by telephone from the police, says Solbakken on Tuesday morning.
On Monday, the Innlandet police district opened a case against Solbakken for quarantine violations after he was present for the first time at the match between HamKam and Lillestrøm on Sunday afternoon, and then did an interview with TV 2 at the stadium. Ullevaal on Monday morning.

– I’m sorry. I acted in good faith. In fact, I thought it would land on Friday. A lot has happened. I counted on Friday morning, then counted that I finished on Sunday. I have not tried to fool anyone. I just haven’t been smart enough, Solbakken told VG on Monday.
Solbakken rained for ten days instead of ten days and therefore thought he was quarantined in time for Sunday’s HamKam match.
