The case is being updated.

Ivorian Kalou has had real problems after broadcasting live and posting a video showing that he doesn’t follow the rules like social distance. Kalou walks with the camera and salutes his teammates and support system people who probably don’t realize they are being filmed.

Kalou is also filming a teammate who seems to be tested for coronavirus. The doctor urges him to delete what he is filming, but Kalou laughs and says he “just cheated.”

The video was later removed.

Punished for serial association

German football is starting to start the season again, and this was probably not what they needed most since the situation is at the moment. There is a lot of anger in the German newspapers and on social media as a result of the video.

– The photos of Salomon Kalou from the closet are completely unacceptable. There should be zero tolerance for that kind of behavior for both the good of the players and the clubs that comply with the regulations. They have not understood the seriousness, says the statement from the German series association.

Like other countries, Germany has done considerable work in restarting football despite the crown pandemic.

The clubs have begun to mass test the players. On Monday, the announcement of ten of a total of 1,724 tests in the soccer environment was positive for the coronavirus.

The situation is therefore more tense.

– Cannot withstand many of these events

– Is there a cure for stupidity?

That is what Jan Åge Fjørtoft asks. Nent’s football commentator has watched the video and believes Kalou is breaking not just one but many rules.

– Films from the closet without his colleagues knowing. That alone is enough for suspension. But then there is this to keep a distance, and then not to take the virus epidemic seriously. He also walks away from the idea of solidarity, as he made a negative statement about the pay cuts.

Fjørtoft says German soccer is on the rise, especially since Angela Merkel and the government will decide on Wednesday if there can be matches again. Because in Germany, as in Norway, the importance of soccer has been debated, both as an industry and as an emotional part, which gives people the opportunity to think about something else.

– Can this video be devastating for a possible start to the Bundesliga?

– No I dont think so. But soccer can’t handle many of these events, he says.

– In any case, this will feed the opponents.

Is folded

The situation is therefore more tense.

Hertha Berlin is also not kind to Kalou after her behavior.

– With this video, Solomon Kalou not only caused harm to Hertha BSC, but also harmed the discussion about the restart of professional soccer. It seems that individual players don’t take the corona virus seriously. However, I would like to emphasize that everyone knows the rules of hygiene and social distance, writes Hertha manager Michael Preetz in a press release on the club’s website.

In the same press release, Kalou regrets his behavior.

– I regret giving the impression that I did not take the coronavirus seriously. This is the opposite. I am particularly concerned about people in Africa, as health services are not as good as in Germany. I didn’t think about what I was doing and was happy that our tests were negative.

Among those seen in the video are Kalou’s Norwegian teammates: Per Ciljan Skjelbred and Rune Almenning Jarstein.

Kalou also apologizes to them and the rest of the clubmates who showed themselves.

We have tried to contact Per Ciljan Skjelbred, without success. Rune Almenning Jarstein has not answered our questions either.
