Soccer, Elite Series 2020 | Ingebrigtsen’s new recession in Bergen: ruined victory against Godset

Brann has not been able to vote at home with Kåre Ingebrigtsen so far. On Saturday, there was a points loss against Strømsgodset, even though Brann created more than enough to win the match.

FIRE – GOODS 1-1:
BRANN STADION (Nettavisen): Finished 1-1 at Brann Stadion in a fun match on Saturday night. Brann took the lead from Petter Strand before the break, but Johan Hove’s draw shortly after ensured the match ended in a draw.

Thus, Kåre Ingebrigtsen, after two attempts, still has the benefit of winning at home as Brann’s new coach.

However, Trøndelag is not worried.

– No, I’m not. If we hadn’t created scoring chances I would have been worried, but now we are creating more than enough to win, Ingebrigtsen tells Nettavisen.

On the first try, there was a known defeat against Mjøndalen.

But on Saturday, the red jerseys should definitely have got away with all the points.

Only an excellent Viljar Myhra on Godset’s goal ensured that Drammen’s side left Bergen with one point. The 24-year-old was the best on the field and kept up with a series of good saves.

The estate had such good control over the red jerseys that former Brann hero Thorstein Helstad had to use Twitter to take out the frustration:

– It’s worth showing up in the second half, Brann, he wrote.

Ingebrigtsen: – It shows that we are not a top team

Ingebrigtsen admits that he couldn’t see the performance he was hoping for after the break.

– When we started in the second round we were a bit restless and we wanted too much. There were great distances in our team, says Ingebrigtsen.

However, he is very happy with the first round in which Brann kept up with a series of dangerous attacks.

– After the first round there, it really should have been decided. Instead, we give away a relatively simple goal and then it’s uphill in the second round, says Brann’s coach.

Ingebrigtsen is disappointed that his team has only been able to score one point in the last two home games.

– It shows that we are not a great team. We need to put this in order. The parties here have to be skilled enough to decide.

Forren sees an improvement

Vegard Forren firewall agrees completely.

– It’s a frustrating game. It’s a bit disappointing after doing a good first half and taking the lead. Then we let in a goal just before the break. Looks like he’s helping to ruin the rest of the match. We cannot go out in the second round the way we want, Forren explains to Nettavisen.

– We are on the right track, but we have to stabilize ourselves and win games like this, says the midfielder.

Forren believes there is an improvement to follow and boasts of Ingebrigtsen’s influence on the team.

– Is very good. He has been very clear on how he wants things, both with the ball and without it. It’s an offensive mindset that has brought the group here that many of us need and that many of us like, says Forren.

Against Strømsgodset, they could possibly see what awaits this team from Brann, but so far it has only held up to one point.

Big opportunities

Property manager Henrik Pedersen had a lot to look forward to after the game. See the interview with the Dane here;

Pedersen announced in the Eurosport interview before the start of the match that the visiting team, in familiar style this season, would stand tall, push and be themselves, even though they were invited on one of the toughest away pitches in the world. Norway.

And it was the guests who created the first big opportunity of the match. A pass to the side displaced the defense, allowing Johan Hove to slip away to score the goal. The reception was good, but goalkeeper Markus Olsen Pettersen saved brilliantly.

The 21-year-old showed there why he gained renewed confidence in Kåre Ingebrigtsen’s cage after the good match at Nadderud last.

Brann still owned the match opener and showed several good tendencies. At a quarter of an hour, they were close to scoring when Viljar Myhra had to come out with two saves in five seconds to prevent the home team from leading. He saved Petter Strand’s good free kick first, before a post just after prevented a good header from Jon-Helge Tveita from going on target.

God Myhra

After 23 minutes, Brann created another good opportunity. Gilbert Koomson played very well at Daouda Bamba, but a good Myhra in the Godset cage brilliantly stopped the striker from a half incline.

Minutes later, Bamba went dangerously ahead again when he played wall with Petter Strand and freed himself in Godset’s area. Unfortunately for Brann, the finish passed ten meters.

– furious

Half an hour after the game started, Godset had to surrender. A clumsy punt from Niklas Gunnarsson went straight to Petter Strand, who struck with his left leg from 17 yards. The shot went hard into the corner behind Viljar Myhra, and Brann took the lead 1-0.

– Myhra is furious. It’s a Gunnarsson goal pass to Strand, TVNorge commentator Kenneth Fredheim said after the scoring.

Shortly after the goal, the home team was able to increase the lead. Koomson had to shoot from close range, but Myhra was on the roster again.

Hove scoring – again

When Brann wasted opportunities, Godset seized the opportunity. Five minutes before the break, the guests tied after a nice attack. Lars-Jørgen Salvesen played Maigaard well free on the field, which again let the ball go 45 degrees. Johan Hove arrived and scored the 1-1 with a cash shot from ten meters.

It was the 19-year-old’s third goal in the last four games and his sixth of the season. 1-1 was also the result at halftime.

The second half was much slower than the first, and Brann struggled to create opportunities.

Neither team could decide the game after the break, and it went down at 1-1.

Now the rest of the national team is waiting, and the teams will not play again until Sunday, September 13. Then Godset faces Rosenborg in Marienlyst, while Brann plays away against Vålerenga as the main match of that round.
