Carl I. Hagen hopes to be elected to the Storting in two counties. But he is beaten by Abid Raja.

Left in the giant county, Viken has adopted a joint list for parliamentary elections for the constituencies of Akershus, Buskerud and Østfold. Raja is at the top in all three.

The party thus becomes the first and only party with a common list for all electoral districts of Viken. And on Sunday afternoon, Abid Raja was elected the list leader in all three counties.

Abid Raja has just been elected.

Parliamentary Representative Solveig Schytz (Raja’s MP since he became Minister of Culture) and Secretary of State at the Climate and Environment Ministry, Maren Hersleth Holsen, have been nominated for the next seats in all counties.

– I am deeply moved and grateful to have been chosen as the best candidate for all of Viken. Being allowed to be the top candidate for up to three counties is a great statement of confidence and I will do my part to live up to these high expectations, says Raja from Lillestrøm, where the elections have just taken place.

Do you remember this? Raja had a dream day at work when she had a meeting with Tom Cruise.

He says that Viken has several common challenges.

– Especially in transport, which is important to agree. There are large projects such as Fornebubane, Ringeriksbane, the south double track towards Østfold and not least the E18 west. These are projects that are important to our region and that are easier to carry out when we are united, says Abid Raja.

Here are the top four candidates at Viken Venstre:

The current national transport plan (PNT) stands out, which it helped to negotiate.

– Some of the most important things for Viken will be that we still have a big footprint in the next NTP the one the government is working on now.

As Minister of Culture, he will also try to raise that field.

– For me, personally, it is important to highlight the importance of cultural politics for voters. We often take culture for granted, at the same time that it is one of the most important things in our lives. Think about music, theater, books that you love, I will do everything in my power to raise the importance of culture and make it visible to the people in the elections that we are going to hold, says the Minister of Culture and Equality of genre.

Raja beats Carl I. Hagen today with a county:

Hagen won the contest for first place on Opplands Frp’s parliamentary election list earlier this afternoon and plans to capture third place on Oslo Frp’s parliamentary election list.
