Several of the dance partners have now resumed training, after being stopped earlier this week due to a stomach illness.
On Saturday, the stage is set for this year’s sixth episode of “Skal vi danse.” Last week, it was host Synnøve Skarbø (49) who had to leave the track after losing the dance duel against radio host Siri Kristiansen (42).
In the last week, several of the dance couples have been affected by stomach ailments, which has led them to not be able to train normally before the broadcast on Saturday.
It was TV 2 that brought up the case for the first time.

– I hope you get better soon
On Monday, Siri Kristiansen was able to reveal that her dance partner Tarjei Svalastog (22) had fallen ill.
– We can hope that he will recover soon, so that he can come and be my chosen crab on the floor, but so far we cannot practice any particular dance, Kristiansen wrote on Instagram, at the same time wishing his dance partner a good recovery .
Thomas Alsgaard’s dance partner (48), Rikke Lund, is also among those affected by stomach disease.
– Rikke is sick. But luckily I’ve found another effective way to train quickstep, the former cross-country skier wrote on Instagram while taking a cool morning swim. He claims that he himself is in good shape.
On TV 2, Alsgaard tells him that he tries not to think so much that they do not get to train together.
– I’m used to this in sports – sometimes unforeseen things happen, and then we just have to figure it out in the best possible way, Alsgaard tells the channel.
In addition to Lund and Svalastog, Andreas Wahl and Agnete Husebye’s dance partners Mai Mentzoni and Bjørn Wettre Holthe are also among those who have experienced stomach-related symptoms, according to TV 2.

Does not affect the broadcast on Saturday
TV 2 press director Jan Petter Dahl confirms to VG that they have recorded six cases of illness in the production.
– In consultation with our infection control consultants, we have taken the necessary measures, including sending the patient home for 48 hours. We have not registered any new cases of the disease beyond these six, he tells VG.
He says they are working to find the cause of the stomach ailments. All participants have also been tested for COVID-19 and the dance center has been washed, Dahl says.
According to Dahl, Saturday’s broadcast of “Skal vi danse” will proceed normally.
– We have not planned any transmission changes as a result of this, he says and continues:
– It is clear that some will experience less training time, but there have also been illnesses and injuries in previous seasons.
He says several of those who have fallen ill are getting better.
– Of course we are happy with this and we will make the necessary arrangements so that they have the opportunity to make up for lost time before Saturday, he says.
