At least 67 people have been reported for violating the Infection Control Act after gatherings and parties in Oslo, Lyngdal and Mosjøen on Sunday night.
Most were present at the two meetings at the Greenland rental property in Oslo.
Police first responded to a report of a soccer show with more than 20 participants, at a venue located right next to the police station in Greenland.
– We ended a private meeting there with 22 people present. All are reported for violations of infection control legislation. From what we understand, the football was shown on the premises, Operations Manager Line Skott in the Oslo police district tells NTB.
He claims that the event was not held at a private address, but rather in a kind of club room.
– What is this, we have not been able to clarify completely. It is very likely that there were more present than these 22, but many were left outside a door when we arrived, says Scotland.
He says that when the police arrived, they discovered another incident involving 23 people at the same address.
– In the same address, on the same floor above, our patrols met with another private meeting. Here, everyone is also reported for violations of infection control regulations. Both places are listed as rental locations that are separate and independent from each other, the operations manager tells NTB at 1.30.
