(Lillehammer-Storhamar 0-5) Former Lillehammer player Jacob Lundell Noer (22) showed zero mercy to the former club and scored after 12 seconds when he first visited the Olympic city as a Storhamar player.
– It couldn’t have been better than that. Super cool. It was something like this that I dreamed of. The dream came true, said Jacob Lundell Noer (22) in an interview with ice hockey licensee TV 2 after the Mjøs Lillehammer-Storhamar derby.
– We are not in the first (period). I can assume it. He hadn’t prepared the boys well enough, admits Lillehammer coach Per Torstensson.
Lundell Noer left Lillehammer in favor of Storhamar before this season. This made it less popular at the northern end of Lake Mjøsa, and a success further south. In club Hamar’s series debut against reigning league champion Stavanger Oilers last Saturday, he made it 2-1 on a graceful penalty.
At his old home stadium Eidsiva (formerly Kristin’s lounge) on Tuesday, he was on the spot right away. Jacob Lundell Noer came in down the left wing. The “final” ended in the cage behind Lillehammer goalkeeper Joona Partanen, after his return had skidded Lillehammer captain Nick Dineen. An own goal, but Lundell Noer was credited with the goal.
In the 12th second of the game.
Then a couple of home team players probably used a lot of force to stop their former teammate, with a pair of ejections resulting. It got worse for Lillehammer when Jacob Lundell Noer made it 2-0 after 16 minutes, net played by Storhamar captain Patrick Thoresen from his own defensive zone.

27 seconds later, Lundell Noer was not actually involved when the guests carried Lillehammer back to bed. Veteran Jimmy Andersson (35) entered at number three, assisted by super veteran Christian Larrivée (38).
– I can’t ask for a better start. It was incredibly dignified. It was a bit strange, but fun so far, Jacob Lundell Noer told TV 2 studio reporter Siri Avlesen-Østli before second period.
Nick Dineen, for his part, announced that they would do everything possible and work to get back into the game.
It should be an empty threat.
Jacob Lundell Noer, on the other hand, came close to making it 4-0 midway through the intermission. Patrick Thoresen was behind the pass that should have been recorded as a scorer.

Lillehammer started the offensive rhythm towards the end of the second period. Austin Cangelosi, who scored two when Lillehammer beat Stjernen 4-2 in the series opener on Saturday, was fired up and Olympic city eldest son Andreas Martinsen emerged from sensational anonymity.
The positive spirit was affected by Storhamar goalkeeper Viktor Kokman and not least 18-year-old Patrick Elvsveen, who was “shocked” when his wet shot hit the right post of Lillehammer goalkeeper Joona Partanen.
– I was just trying to get him in, the Storhamar running back admitted after his first goal in the top series, recently dubbed the Fjordkraft league.

– There is so much to do. But we just have to try, said Andreas Martinsen (30) before the last 20 minutes of play.
Lillehammer tried, but there was little to applaud. Stian Kaltrud Nystuen came in alone with Kokman, after the puck hit the post behind Partanen. The home team had a couple of chances to cut back in overtime games, but the Storhamar players sabotaged them with efficiency and sacrifice.
Three minutes before the end, Eirik Salsten hit the famous nail after a perfect pass from Jonas Djupvik Løvlie, while the home team outfielders acted as spectators around their goalkeeper Partanen, again.
