Problems counting votes during Saturday’s broadcast led to all nine artists joining the competition.

– We received some comments that some of those who voted by SMS did not receive a receipt message. We also saw that we received a lot of votes by SMS after the voting period ended during the broadcast and therefore we cannot guarantee one hundred percent that we have a correct result, says Mirja Minjares, Project Editor at NRK

This means that Sandra Lyng is involved in Stjernekamp along with the other eight contestants who stood on stage and competed in the country genre on Saturday night.

– It is our job to ensure a fair reconciliation, so we have to do a thorough review of this together with the company responsible for the SMS reconciliation. The solution for the survey on the website worked, but we have to have the full picture of the votes online and by SMS. We know that the margins are small in these types of surveys and that is why it is the only correct thing to continue with nine artists next week, says Minjares.

– I’m sorry Sandra had to blow up the experience, but now we hope to have her with us! It was important to make this decision quickly after shipment so Sandra doesn’t waste time preparing for the next week, says Minjares.

– This is also very sad for the viewers who have pledged through voting. Precisely for this reason, we must do a proper review together with the provider, says Minjares.

– It became an emotional roller coaster after the broadcast. At first I was incredibly sad, and then I was really happy when I knew I was with. The only positive thing about believing I’d smoked was not having to sing opera, but I love taking on a challenge, so now of course I’m ready for that too, says Sandra Lyng.

I was nauseous and nervous before sending

I was ready for a barn party and deep feelings when the “Star Wars” artists were going to tackle the country genre on Saturday night.

The artists consistently received good feedback from the judges, but thanks to the voting curls, it seemed like it was Sandra Lyng who got the fewest votes and withdrew from the competition.

– Of course I think it’s strange, but this is part of the game. One has to go, and this time it was me, Lyng says he’s very happy with his own efforts, he told VG after the “Star Fight” broadcast.

– I had a lot of nausea and nervousness, so I managed to stay there without shaking. I’m happy.

good comments

On the occasion of the country night, she sang “Jolene” by Dolly Parton and received good comments from the judges.

– Good performance with fervor, said Kurt Nilsen, who was a guest judge and mentor to the artists this week.

Malin Pettersen, who was also a guest judge, thought it was great that Lyng had thought about the text and seriously what he said.

– The story is so important, trust that your voice is there. You don’t need to convince anyone with that, because it’s there, he said after Lyng’s performance.
