Rec Silicon and Kahoot soared in flat swap – E24

Kahoot and Rec Silicon stock prices led on the Oslo Stock Exchange. Rec Silicon finished with more than 60 percent in news of major collaborations, while Kahoot was up nearly 15 percent after an announcement that Japanese giant Softbank is entering on the property side.

During the morning, the Kahoot questionnaire company issued an announcement on the stock exchange that they had raised NOK 1.98 billion from a subsidiary of the Japanese conglomerate Softbank Group.

The stock ended up 13.19 percent to 56.2 kroner.

– A clear seal of quality

Kahoot, which is listed on the Merkur Market, has made a share issue aimed at Softbank, in which the latter will own 9.69 percent of the Norwegian company.

Kahoot will issue 43 million new shares at a price of NOK 46 per share.

The company writes that they are experiencing strong momentum as companies “increasingly seek engaging, reliable, and user-friendly ways to build corporate culture, educate, and engage. At the same time, schools and teachers want to enhance the learning experience, either virtually or in the classroom.

– Softbank invests in high-growth technology companies. This is a clear seal of quality that we have not seen before from a Norwegian tech company, says analyst Aksel Engebakken at ABG Sundal Collier.

The money that has been raised from Softbank will be used to fund further growth, the company writes in the report.

Softbank will own 9.69 percent of the Norwegian questionnaire company.

Rec Silicon partners with a solar energy company

Silicon company Rec Silicon is rising dramatically on the Stock Exchange after the company announced new collaborations in the production of solar cells and a new type of battery.

After the closing, Rec’s share price ended up 64.60 percent at NOK 11.44.

With solar energy company Violet, Rec Silicon signs an agreement to establish a supply chain for solar cells at the company’s Moses Lake facility in Washington, USA.

Since July of last year, Rec Silicon has had to close its Moses Lake plant in Washington state in the United States. On Tuesday morning, the company announced that it has signed cooperation agreements with the solar cell company Violet Power and the battery company Group14.

Both agreements involve production at the Moses Lake facility.

The stock market is without the big changes on Tuesday. The main index closed 0.31 percent lower at 875.37 points.

The price of oil, which was in the red at the beginning of the day, has experienced an increase in the morning and is trading at the close at 42.20 dollars, an increase of 1.08 percent on the day.
