Christmas is fast approaching and there are probably more who are looking forward to this year’s holiday celebration. However, it will be a different Christmas celebration for many due to the crown pandemic, and there are likely more who will not be allowed to go home for Christmas this year, including Princess Madeleine (38).
She usually lives in Florida, United States, with her family, but every year she has traveled to Sweden to celebrate Christmas with the rest of the Swedish royal family. This will not be the case this year.
She announces this in a post on Instagram.
“It saddens me that this year I will not have the opportunity to go home, but my heart goes out to all of Sweden,” he writes.
According to Swedish court information manager Margareta Thorgren, this was to be expected and the royal family should have known that Princess Madeleine and her family will not be traveling to Sweden this Christmas.
