After just over three months, the police have yet to identify the mysterious “man in the hood.” But now they want to know what jacket he was wearing.
This is confirmed by Police Inspector Agnes Beate Hemiø to VG. The so-called “man in the hood” was captured on surveillance cameras near Sloraveien on the day that Anne-Elisabeth Hagen disappeared two years ago.

This summer, police came out with photos and videos hoping to identify the man, but so far without success. In search of an answer, the police have investigated the jacket he is wearing.
– The results of police investigations strongly suggest that the jacket is of the Missing Link brand and Youcon model. The police are continuing the work of mapping relevant outlets and purchases in hopes of identifying the person in question, police inspector Agnes Beate Hemiø tells VG.

The police inspector further says that they are interested in all tips that can help identify the person, even if someone has information about the mentioned jacket that in one way or another may be linked to the wanted person.
Finding a point of sale and buying multiple goods has been a strategy that the police have used in the past in the search for one or more perpetrators.
Among other things, the police have stated that shoe prints from a Sprox shoe purchased from Spar Køb, a Biltema strip and a Clas Ohlson letterhead and envelope have been found at the scene.
Tom Hagen is charged with murder or complicity in the murder of Anne-Elisabeth Hagen after she disappeared from the couple’s home in Lørenskog in October 2018. He denies his criminal guilt and denies having anything to do with his wife’s disappearance . The police do not rule out that there are more people involved in the case.
