Petter Northug is probably one of the ones that surprises us the most. If there’s a path he’s not going to go, then you can get married and say that he will. Now carols, and believe it or not: it could have been a lot worse than it is.
This is a review. Express the views of the writer.
I almost smile from beginning to end of “Petter’s Christmas,” as I have done so many times with most of what Petter Northug has done. I have simply referred to Northug as a more than average sports enthusiast, but of course I have been very disappointed with what has happened in the last year.
There was nothing to smile about.

Then he does it again completely unexpectedly, and “Petter’s Christmas” gets the expected reactions. Like everything Northug does. But how is all that music considered? The song is nothing short of sweet and contains every pop cliché out there. It is as decidedly forgotten as it is heard.

Aside from being very serious in his elite endeavors, Northug has also been a guy who has had humor for himself, and the irony of the sea has never been far behind. If we’re going to believe the people around Northug – and the song – and we probably will until proven otherwise, then Northug has written the lyrics himself.
It starts out just as well like this:
“It is Christmas in the city and in the country, a year has passed, what have I done? I have not been a nice boy this year, I doubt they will give me Christmas presents. I am not the child of my dreams, but I have a Christmas prayer. Can I go home for ribs and cream of rice?
So the smile is already in place and continues for more than three minutes. Self-irony and humor that “hits” only at himself, as well as self-glorification, is a recurring theme, and I love it.

Singer Petter
There I must admit I was terrified that they would have to find the pillow, but then no. Petter Northug does not get lost behind the song of a carriage. He sings clean and is obviously quite musical. It is definitely not equipped with a great voice, but it is suitable for this use.
Pepper Petter
Petter Northug is guaranteed to get pepper for this trick.
He definitely looks forward to it, and loves it. Once again. Sorry Petter, but I’m not in the howling chorus. That way, you won’t get any traction aid from me.
