The former midfielder points to the body language of Marcus Rashford (23) as a sign that Ole Gunnar Solskjær (47) can now sit insecurely in the coach’s chair.

After a good period with several solid results, it was another defeat on Sunday for Ole Gunnar Solskjær and his Manchester United, for Arsenal at home at Old Trafford.

The London club won 1-0 after a Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang penalty in what was generally a rather tame and energyless performance from the home side.

The performance against Arsenal caused television expert and United legend Roy Keane to rage and now the Irishman believes that Solskjær is in danger of losing his position as United manager.

Keane: – You will lose your job.

Keane believes that it is primarily the player’s fault that the Norwegian’s position is now in jeopardy, a criticism Keane has repeated several times during the Solskjær regime.

– Ole will lose his job for these players. It is as true as the night after the day. That’s what will happen, Keane says according to The Mirror.

– Sometimes it is said that it is not necessary to panic, but with this result and achievements, it is actually time to panic. I judge the players by their performance and I don’t see it. I’ve never let the manager motivate me myself, it must come from within, says Keane.

The Sky Sports expert believes there was a lack of energy, enthusiasm and quality when Arsenal won at Old Trafford in a league game for the first time in 14 years.

– I’m very, very worried about United right now. Where do I start. That worries me. There was no quality, there was no peace. Several of the performances were weak. Have you encountered the Kneika? In that case, it must be the greatest trick of all time. These players just don’t convince me, Keane thinks.

– shocking

Striker Marcus Rashford is one Keane criticizes after the loss. Iren believes the star’s body language is a sign of what is wrong.

– I don’t see leaders in the field. Now the road is very long for the club. I watched Marcus closely at this game. His body language was shocking.

– He only shrugged when it didn’t turn out the way he wanted. When playing for United, you have to roll up your sleeves in such situations, the former midfielder believes.

Sun: – More intensity

Nor was Ole Gunnar Solskjær happy with what he saw of his students in Sunday’s game.

– We didn’t show up until the first round. The intensity and pace weren’t there and they were better than us. They created some useful opportunities. In the second half, it didn’t seem like they were going to score, except for the penalty. We played better in the second half, but we have to present ourselves with more intensity, he told Sky Sports.

Of course, the Norwegian was also asked to comment on the penalty situation decided by the match. Paul Pogba put Héctor Bellerin on the ground awkwardly and the Frenchman’s mistake was decisive for the outcome of the match.

– Stand there. The kid is coming out of the penalty area, and Paul knows it is a cheap penalty to give away. Like the one who almost punished Nemanja. There is more contact there than Paul does, but that’s another discussion, Solskjær said.

Already on Wednesday, Solskjær and his men will be in action in the Champions League against Istanbul Basaksehir. The Premier League club has so far two victories in a row, over PSG and RB Leipzig, in their group H.
