On Wednesday it was announced that Barack Obama will do an exclusive interview with CBS this week. This is Obama’s first television interview after this year’s election.
The interview actually airs on Sunday, but “CBS 60 Minutes” shared a clip of the interview on Friday night.
In the clip, which aired on “CBS Evening News” Thursday night, Barack Obama takes a hard line against Donald Trump’s electoral fraud allegations.

Obama doesn’t like that. He describes the direction the president is now taking as “dangerous.”
Obama also believes that Republicans who support Trump’s claims endanger democracy.
“I’m more concerned about the fact that other Republican officials who clearly know better follow this and reflect it in this way,” Obama told the channel.

Lately there has been a total division in the Republican Party. Some Republicans have congratulated Biden on the victory, while others are calling on Trump to continue fighting.

There are still many who show loyalty to Trump.

On Friday night, representatives of the US electoral authorities wrote in a statement that there is no evidence that the ballots were changed or lost during last week’s elections.

In the CBS interview, Obama will talk about his new book, “A Promised Land” – “A Promised Land” in Norwegian.
