Tesla boss Elon Musk now says he wants to open the Tesla plant in Fremont, California, in violation of government bans.
He posted the message to Twitter on Monday night, Norwegian time.
Here Musk writes that he wants to perform at the factory himself, along with the employees.
“If someone is going to be arrested, I ask that it be me,” he writes.

Although California has begun to ease the restrictions, there are still stricter special rules to limit coronary infection in the populous Alameda county, where the plant is located.
Musk himself has claimed that the factory is socially critical because of its many employees, and has also threatened to relocate to Texas or Nevada with immediate effect.
“Honestly, this is the last straw, Musk tweeted on Saturday.
On Monday, the parking spaces outside the factory were nearly full, and various media report that production is already underway.
It is unclear how the authorities will enforce the violation. The Gavin Newsom state was asked about this Monday, but was unaware that the factory had opened, according to CNBC.
