(Norway-Russia 21-19, 21-15) Sand volleyball pair Anders Mol (23) and Christian Sørum (24) won their third consecutive European Championship title when the Russian pair were defeated in the final.
Oleg Stojanovsky (207 cm!) And Vyacheslav Krasilnikov caused a lot of trouble for Norwegian stars, but it didn’t last long.
Anders Mol, who injured his thigh, put on a show in the block game, and Christian Sørum was fantastic. Thus, they won the most important competition in an Olympic year where there were no Olympic Games.
– They maintain a level that is difficult to achieve, said Viaplay commentator and former sand volleyball star Vegard Høidalen live.
– It feels amazing. Three in a row is fantastic, Mol said in an interview that was shown on Viaplay.

The Norwegian pair were in serious trouble in the first set but came very strong at the end and won 21-19 after an excellent set.
Also in the second set, the Russians opened better, but Mol / Sørum came much faster and held a four to five point lead.
– This seems to go the way of Anders and Christian, Vegard Høidalen said in the Viaplay broadcast. Then it was 13-8.
The Russians gradually surrendered more or less.

Stojanovsky / Krasilnikov are also among the few couples in the world to have beaten Mol / Sørum.
The Norwegian volleyball duo beat Italians Paolo Nicolai and Daniele Lupo in straight sets in the semi-finals on Sunday morning.
