Gary Neville believes that Ole Gunnar Solskjær’s team next season may cause problems for the rival.
Manchester United have had to lag far behind Liverpool arch-rival in recent years, but he believes former United player Neville may already change next season.
That despite Liverpool being 37 points ahead of Manchester United in the Premier League, which has now been halted due to the crown virus.
In other words, the distance is great between the two clubs to date, but Neville says in an interview with Sky Sports that he feels increasingly confident that United can challenge Liverpool for the league title next season.

– Need class 3-4 players
Several clubs in Europe are expected to have financial difficulties due to the crown crisis. United club director Ed Woodward warned that the crisis could also affect Manchester United’s purchasing power, while manager Ole Gunnar Solskjær said on Friday that there are clubs that are fighting more financially than United.
– Today’s world is different from what it was two months ago. We have to adapt, and there are clubs that have more financial difficulties than we do. It is a new world, and I think the transition market this summer will be completely different from what everyone had imagined, “says Solskjær.

In the past, Solskjær has also stated that United can take advantage of the situation in the transition market. Neville also believes the club will be able to do so and will therefore also strengthen the chances of challenging Liverpool next season.
– They need to get three or four quality players, says Neville.
The former United player adds that he also liked what he saw of the Solskær team in the period before the league ended. That makes him stronger in the belief that we’ll see another United team next season.

Has not won since the 2012/13 season
Manchester United have to go back to the 2012/13 season to find the last time they won the Premier League. That time it was Sir Alex Ferguson who led the team.
However, the club was unable to present itself in the same way after Ferguson left. Neither David Moyes, Louis van Gaal, José Mourinho, or Ole Gunnar Solskjær have been successful at the top of the league.
However, Sunshine still has a chance, and Neville believes the Norwegian can succeed.
This season, however, United are unlucky and everything indicates that the league trophy will end in Liverpool, but for now it is not clear when or if the season will be completed.
