BJERKE (VG) A man in his 30s was shot and injured on an open street in Bredtvetveien in Groruddalen, northeast of Oslo.

– We were notified at 11:01 pm that a person had been shot. From what we are sitting, it has happened in the open air. I don’t have an overview of the condition, but the person is injured, says operations manager Gjermund Stokkli.

He says that there is a large police force in the area, and that they are applying both with crews and with dog patrols.

– We are looking for two at least two people who should have fled the place. They may have escaped by car, but we don’t know. We apply widely, Stokkli concludes.

At 11:44 p.m., Operations Manager Christian Krohn Engeseth reports that the man in his 30s has been sent to hospital for treatment and that they are still searching for the perpetrators.

– We have received a vague description of a car in which they may have fled. It’s too early to say anything about relationships or the course of events now, says Krohn Engeseth.
