Karpes Magdi Omar Ytreeide Abdelmaguid (35) has become the father of a daughter. Along with his wife Oda Felicia Bardal Sigstad, he now has four children.
The news of the baby was cryptically shared on social media.
– Paradise is under your mother’s feet, habibti. Welcome to a different world, Karpe wrote on her official Instagram account on Sunday.
Carpe’s manager Silje Larsen Borgan confirms the news of the baby to Dagbladet.
– You can confirm that Oda and Magdi have had a daughter and that is good for the whole family of six, she writes in a text message.
Abdelmaguid generally shares little of his private life with the public, but during P3 Gold last year, he said many wondered how he balanced his childhood life with his music career.
– Having a job of eight to four in the center of Oslo, how do you manage to balance it with the children? It looks like chaos. At the moment, it’s easier, they haven’t started school yet, he said at the time.
In 2014, Abdelmaguid and his wife became parents to twins, who have since been featured in the music video for the song “Gunerius”. In this sense, Abdelmaguid spoke about his father’s life with Dagbladet.
– Before they become twin parents, they tell him it will be heavy. Of course it is sometimes, but I don’t think focusing on being fat is enough, he said in 2016.
The same year the couple had a third child. So now all three boys can enjoy being older siblings to the newborn girl.
Maker Chirag Patel, on the other hand, said during P3 Gold that he may want to become a parent “when appropriate.”
– As Magdi says, she dedicates a lot of time to work and children, and now I am doing what I want. So I can go to the movies, to the cafe with my friends. You waste a lot of time when you are not responsible for much more than yourself in life. So there is probably a reason why the world is designed with children and such, then you realize that you are not that important. I have read all this on the Internet, I could tell Dagbladet.
In 2021, Karpe plans to fill the Oslo Spectrum ten times, after doing the trick three times in 2017.
Exhausted performances caused the Dagbladet critic to roll a six in the bucket. The concert film “Adjø Montebello” sold over 50,000 movie tickets in no time.
