Discussions about the general rule in the Premier League continue after the big game in Manchester.

Replays showed Gomez desperately trying to push his arm away from the ball field when the post hit, but the ball still hit the Englishman’s hand.
The situation is the latest in several similar leagues in the Premier League this season, further fueling the discussion about whether the rules on hands should be changed.

The VAR room decided that referee Craig Pawson should come out to see the situation on the screen outside the touchline, and Pawson ultimately chose to point to the eleven meter mark at the Etihad.
De Bruyne did something as rare as burning the penalty, but the motive for the attempt is still being discussed and taken into account on Twitter.

The striker mocked his compatriot and made it 1-1, but his teammates still had to go to the locker room to take a break with a draw after De Bruyne’s missed penalty.
Alexander-Arnold injured
Jürgen Klopp started the confrontation with Sadio Mané, Roberto Firmino, Mohamed Salah and the form player Diogo Jota, but the German removed Firmino from the field before the hour was up.

This means that Pep Guardiola’s team is in eleventh position with 12 points, while Liverpool is third in the league with 17 points after eight league games.
