Norway suffered a painful 1-2 loss to Serbia in Ullevaal last Thursday. Thus, the dream of a European Championship tie for the first time in 21 years was sadly shattered for the Norwegian national football team.

Norway is now determined to fight back in the Nations League match against Romania.

The son of the legend before the meeting with Norway: – The World Cup means something very special for us Romanians

Lars Lagerbäck makes several changes to the team after the loss to Serbia.

On defense, Lagerbäck sends Stefan Strandberg for Tore Reginiussen. Birger Meling replaces Haitam Aleesami at the back, while Moi Elyounoussi replaces Stefan Johansen and Mathias Normann replaces Markus Henriksen.

– It is natural for these changes to occur, says TV 2 expert Jesper Mathisen to TV 2.

And elaborates:

– Our left side did not work against Serbia, and with Meling and Moi inside we have a left side that I think is much better than the one Norway presented on Thursday. Normann was the best outfielder after being substituted at halftime, and he believes that now he has really played for this team.

However, the expert expected even more changes.

– I was hoping Rosted would have a chance in central defense tonight, but Lagerbäck and Perry once again choose Strandberg ahead of Østigård and Rosted, he notes.

This is how Norway begins against Romania:

(4-4-2): Rune Almenning Jarstein – Omar Elabdellaoui, Stefan Strandberg, Kristoffer Ajer, Birger Meling – Martin Ødegaard, Mathias Normann, Sander Berge, Mohamed Elyounoussi – Alexander Sørloth, Erling Braut Haaland
