Three people have been charged with murder after Dan E vivos Lid (48) was found dead in his apartment in Kristiansand.

This was stated by the police at a press conference on Tuesday afternoon.

– All three are charged with Lid’s murder or complicity in the murder. The defendants are between 30, 40 and 50 years old, respectively. All are known to the police to varying degrees from before, and two have been previously convicted. For the sake of further investigation, we are unable to come up with more information, says police attorney Morten Formo.

Also, he says it is too early to say anything about the motive, but there is nothing to indicate that the action was politically motivated.

– The police continue the investigation in its entirety in the form of a review of the information already obtained, and it is continually evaluated whether additional information that is relevant to the case can be obtained.

All three will be presented for safekeeping on Wednesday or Thursday. Family members have been informed of the arrest, says Formo.

– There will also be interrogations of the accused and relevant witnesses, says the police lawyer.

Dan Evid Lid was found dead in his home by a friend on Saturday, October 3, and Agder police believe the 48-year-old man has been killed.

The investigation so far indicates that he was killed between five and six in the morning this morning, according to police.

On Thursday of last week, the police came out and said they wanted to contact the driver and passengers of a car that was traveling in the innermost part of Suldalsveien, not far from Lid’s apartment, in the direction of Kjerrane, just before from 05.00 hours on Saturday, October 3.

There are a number of surveillance cameras in the area around the apartment complex, which may have captured the perpetrators.

– There has been contact from the audience and we are grateful for the advice that has reached us. They will be reviewed and evaluated in the case, Formo said Tuesday afternoon.

It was previously known that Lid is said to have stored weapons and a significant amount of drugs in his home. This must have disappeared when he was found beaten and dead on the floor of the apartment in Kristiansand.

Police lawyer Formo will not comment on whether the three now accused of murder or complicity in the murder belong to a special background.

– They are known to the police before, but beyond that I will not comment on specific information of the case. It is out of consideration for further investigation and for cross-examination of witnesses and defendants, he said Tuesday.

So far, police have refused to comment on the cause of death, except to note that a preliminary autopsy report supports the suspicion of murder.

Lid is said to have had several visible injuries when he was found dead in his apartment, head injuries, among other things. Police attorney Formo answered the following questions about this earlier this month:

– So we are talking about details that I cannot comment on for the sake of the investigation. We have received a preliminary autopsy report that has given us enough information to say that we are working on a homicide investigation. I don’t want to say anything about how he died.
