Earlier this year, there was a public conflict between last year’s top scorer and Bodø Glimt. Earlier this year, he told VG that he wanted to leave the club.

– I feel that I have the opportunity to fulfill a dream of proving myself in one of the most important leagues in the world, but the club will not even negotiate. They don’t keep their promises. It disappoints and frustrates me at the same time. It is not optimal for me or for my motivation that they rob me of such an economic and football opportunity. Sometimes you can be professional enough to leave it behind, but sometimes you can’t. I hope we don’t have to get there, Junker told VG in January after Glimt, among other things, failed to approve an offer from the Serie A club Crotone.

Glimt CEO Frode Thomassen has yet to respond to VG’s inquiry. Avisa Nordland has also received no comment from the Glimt field.

Glimt has been in a training camp in Spanish Marbella for four weeks to be able to train at the same time that there is a refusal of training in Bodø.
