Jennifer Aniston: – – This is not funny

Hollywood star Aniston is among the famous faces that have participated in the public debate about a new president in the United States. In an Instagram post on Friday night Norwegian time, she writes that she herself chose to vote for Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden and vice-presidential candidate Kamala Harris.

– I have cast my vote and I did it early. I voted for these candidates because our country is more divided than ever. At the moment, some men are in power and decide what women can and cannot do with their own bodies. Our president has said that racism is not a problem. He has repeatedly stated that he is ignorant of science. (…) Too many people have died, Aniston writes in the post.

– Be responsible

She encourages her more than 35.7 million followers to “really think about who will be most affected if today’s development continues.”

“Think of your daughters, the LGBT community, our black brothers and sisters, the elderly with poor health, and their future children and grandchildren (who are tasked with saving a planet that our leaders refuse to acknowledge),” Aniston writes.

This year’s election is not about one candidate or one issue, but about the future of America and the world, he says.

The “Friends” actor then arrives with a clear message:

– Vote for equal human rights, love and decency. (…) It’s not fun to vote for Kanye (West). I do not know how to say it. Be responsible.

I have a lot of attention

Earlier this year, there was complete confusion surrounding rapper Kanye West when he announced in July that he would run for president with the birthday party. The news was not well received by all, and several Democrats believed that he was only running to steal black voters from Biden so that President Donald Trump, who he had previously supported, could be re-elected.

However, in an interview with Forbes the same month, West denied that his candidacy was a public relations stunt and revealed more details about what his presidency would look like. Among other things, he said the organizational model at the White House is based on the country “Wakanda” from the superhero movie “Black Panther.”

He also became sensitive when he held his first voter rally in North Carolina on July 19, when he began to cry on stage.

West was silenced in several states, while others rejected the nominations for various reasons.
