Ivanka Trump (39) has been by her father’s side during his slightly controversial and noisy presidential term.
Now that the presidency of Donald Trump (74) is coming to an end as a result of the electoral victory of Joe Biden (77), the work of the 39-year-old as an adviser to the controversial father will soon go down in history.
Much has been written about the Trump clan since Donald Trump took over the Oval Office in January 2017, and the amount of writing is not exactly expected to decrease now that the family is exiting politics.

In a Vanity Fair essay, it is Ivanka Trump’s past that is now put under the microscope. The essay is written by none other than the former best friend of the president’s daughter, freelance journalist Lysandra Ohrstrom.
They met when they both attended a prestigious boys’ school on Manhattan’s Upper East Side in the 1990s, and they were inseparable for a full ten years.
“Ivanka Trump was my best friend when I was little” is the first sentence of the text, before Ohrstrom describes the way until the friendship disappeared due to the great differences between them.
Inseparable
At first, the two girls dated each other from time to time, but after an invitation to Ivanka Trump’s 13th birthday in 1994, they got better and better contact, Ohrstrom writes.
After a trip to Paris a few years later, they became inseparable.
– We remain best friends for more than ten years, and almost more sisters than best friends. Of course, she loved to talk about herself and was blatantly vain, but she was also fun, loyal, and let’s face it – pretty exciting, she writes about her former best friend.
She now has these opportunities
They kept in touch for twenty years, but their lives took two very different directions after going to college.
However, they were close for several more years.
Then in 2009, shortly after being one of the bridesmaids at Ivanka’s wedding, our friendship crumbled under the weight of the differences between us, Ohrstrom writes about the tipping point.
Furthermore, he writes that he thought Ivanka Trump would help defeat his father when she became part of the president’s team when he won the election. Ohrstrom believes that Ivanka has done the opposite.
The public has heard few stories from people close to Ivanka Trump when she was younger. In the essay, the freelance journalist admits that she had doubts about whether she should publish the essay.
Ohrstrom also lists several sensational situations from their friendship. She once gave her best friend a book on poverty, and then she should have received this response:

Ivanka Trump is also said to have once refused to speak to her friend about housing policy and called her a “Marxist,” Ohrstrom writes.

Both Ivanka Trump and her husband Jared Kushner (39) must find new jobs now that the presidency of Donald Trump is coming to an end. There is great excitement for what America’s first daughter will do in the future.
The Guardian recently wrote that Ivanka is likely to return to the Trump Organization. However, it should be mentioned that this will probably not be the most stable workplace in the world when the father resigns as president.
