BODØ (VG) Marius Lode (27) was more playmaker than midfielder in the reduction of Aalesund. After the game, he received a surprising message.
– Very proud and humble. It was a bit surreal getting the message. Suddenly Håvard comes out and says’ did you hear that? Have you heard? You have been selected for the national team! “Lode tells VG.
It was his teammate Patrick Berg who first broke the news to VG in the press season after their 7-0 win over Aalesund.

– Tomorrow early I will fly to Oslo and now I will also take Lode. So it’s a lot of fun, Berg revealed.
