Photos of a well-known Swedish artist who is being abused and allegedly kidnapped are released on Monday night on social media.
– I have received information that it is alleged on social networks that something has happened to the artist, Ola Østerling of the Stockholm police tells Expressen.
Police believe according to Newspaper the photos are two weeks old and a hijacking review must be created.
However, the artist in question will not contribute to the investigation.
VG spoke to press spokesperson Ola Østerling on Monday night for Stockholm police, who said they were investigating whether there were reasons to believe a crime had been committed.
According to Expressen, the police have been in contact with the artist’s parents who say he is fine, but have not been in contact with the artist. At the same time, the newspaper writes that the police are working hard to ensure that the information the artist is making is correct.
On Monday night, the artist posted a video telling him that he was fine.
– I have one thing to tell you. Anyone out there can be kidnapped. Everyone can be hit. Everyone can stay, I don’t know what. But I’m fine. You see, I’m alive.
