He broke the old record.

The case is being updated!

On Sunday, the talented Norwegian athlete Henriette Jæger set a new world record for under-18 athletes at seven.

– Fantastic development

He achieved 6301 points and thus erased the 2008 record of María Vicente.

– He has had a fantastic development and is incredibly versatile. She is almost a female Karsten Warholm. There are some similarities there, at least they are both fast and tough, Secretary General Kjetil Hildeskor tells Nettavisen.

– If she can continue with her development, without illness or injury, then there can be a high international level of her as a senior, she continues.

He thinks this says a lot about the good athletic atmosphere in Norway:

– There has been a small ketchup effect. After the older generation joined Andreas Thorkildsen, Henrik Ingebrigtsen came, then Karsten Warholm came and more Ingebrigtsen brothers came. I think it has become an offensive culture in Norway, where many environments are good and they see that they can build something, says Hildeskor.

This was the 17-year-old’s series of records:

100 m then: 13.21 (2.7)
High jump: 1.69 m
Bullet Impact: 14.69 m
200 m: 23.36 s (2.1)
Length up to: 6.33 m (-1.3)
Javelin Throw: 35.71m
800m: 2.11.37.

The great talent opened the second day on Sunday with a brute force of 6.33 meters in length, an improvement from his own personal and age record in J17 by one centimeter.

In javelin, he threw a meter and a half behind his own personal record, but lost no more points than the 2.17.00 in the 800 meters that would hold the world record.

Jæger had a personal best before the race of 2.11.82 and delivered a solid 2.11.37 and could therefore work towards the new record.

Leave the foundation on Saturday

The foundation for the record was set on Saturday when Jæger delivered brilliantly in the early drills during the competition at Moss. She had accumulated 3818 points after the first day.

On Saturday he opened with 13.21 seconds in the 100 meter hurdles, which was also much better than the personal record of 13.59, but there was too much tailwind to pass the record. She then followed with 1.69 m tall.

In shot put, it was 14.69 meters as the longest throw, which in turn was a clear improvement in the personal record. Jæger finished Saturday brilliantly when he ran 200 meters in a time of 23.36 seconds. Again, there was too much tailwind for him to pass as a personal record, but in fight seven he was in excellent position.
