Vegar Eggen Hedenstad (29) will not be able to continue in Rosenborg’s bid for promotion after fourth place in the 2020 Elite Series.
This is confirmed by the club on its own website on Wednesday morning.
Last week it emerged that another defender, Tore Reginiussen, has also finished at Rosenborg.

– It’s a bit special that it’s over. It’s been four good years, although it hasn’t been top-notch in terms of results the last two seasons, Hedenstad tells RBK.no.
The back confirms that you have something new, without revealing what it is. Hedenstad has been in Rosenborg since 2017. He has played for Freiburg, Eintracht Braunschweig and St. Pauli in Germany. Hedenstad is originally from Elverum, but it was in Stabæk that he became a soccer profile.

With Rosenborg, he became league champion in both 2017 and 2018. Hedenstad has played from the start in 17 of 30 league games in 2020. He was not in the squad at the end of the season in Sandefjord on Tuesday night.

During his time at the club, he has contributed to two league golds, one gold cup and three group matches in the Europa League.
