The popular comedian opens up about cocaine abuse in an interview with Anne Lindmo.

In the interview, he says that in one case he took up to 70,000 crowns to buy cocaine. The use became so bad that his wife Pernille Rygg had to close their bank cards so that they could not buy more cocaine.

NRK reports.

The popular comedian published this biography “Koht’s Book”, which she has written in collaboration with journalist Joachim Førsund, with whom she has also made podcasts.

Earlier this week, VG brought up the bio, where he talks openly about being a morbid maniac and addicted to drugs.

Here she writes that she wants to tell everything, and is open about the abuse of cocaine and pills, hospitalization in a closed room, bipolar disorder and infidelity.

VG asked her in connection with the release how sure she is that sharing so much is okay.

– You can never be sure. But we, Pernille and I have thought carefully about it and we had great confidence in Joachim. And Joachim and I agree on this, a bit journalistic, it makes no sense to do something like this if it is not concrete and direct. Life is not some kind of sermon.

Koht was diagnosed with cancer in November 2018. In May of this year, she said that she had received test results showing that there is no spread of the cancer.

Write about the fear of relapse in the book.

«I think that way all the time, really. Even though I am happy and well, it lurks behind me, all the time. There is a dark hole that I can fall into at any moment»It says in the book.

But not only the life force is strong. The desire to love is also great.

“I want people to love me. I want to make a mark. I want them to say, after my death, that Christine Koht moved everyone.”

The VG reviewer gave the book a roll of 4.

– The book was about all the secrets of the family and his life. And it is certainly developing at high speed, writes VG critic Guri Hjeltnes.
