Asthmatic Chris Christie (58) has been hospitalized with coronavirus after attending the Rosehage ceremony. Several cases of infection are now related to this event.
The former New Jersey governor is one of several now infected after attending the ceremony in which Amy Coney Barrett was nominated as a Supreme Court Justice on Saturday last week.
The footage shows Christie embracing a woman, conversing closely with people and shaking hands after the Rosehagen ceremony at the White House. She was not wearing a mask.
A video shows that Senator Mike Lee, infected with coronavirus, also hugs people.
The two infected Republicans weren’t the only ones to have a lot of close contact with other participants in the much-talked-about event in Rosehagen.
Video footage shows Trump’s adviser Kellyanne Conway and Attorney General William Barr in close conversation. Barr shakes hands with several people during the event and Conway has now been confirmed to be infected.

Christie is hospitalized at Morristown Hospital, writes Twitter.
