Great talent finished at Stabæk: – Will to Molde – rbnett.no

This is Nettavisen reporting this Friday night. Ola Brynhildsen’s contract with Stabæk expires in late June / July, and he will later become a Bosman player.

– He decided not to sign for Stabæk and communicated through his agent that he would prefer to go to Molde if he stays in Norway. But if he has signed with them, I don’t know, Stabæk CEO Jon Tunold tells Nettavisen.

In mid-April, the talented Stabæk visited Aker Stadium to see the conditions and speak with fellow MFK coach Erling Moe.

– This is a player that we have been observing for several years and that we wanted to know better. We’ve talked about the future, Molde coach Moe told Rbnett.

MFK has tried to buy Brynhildsen at least three times since 2018. The latest offers should have been NOK 4-5 million, but all were rejected by Stabæk. Now, however, it may seem like he’s still becoming a Molde player.

Ola Brynhildsen himself will not confirm this to Nettavisen on Friday. They are also trying to get confirmation from Brynhildsen’s agent Jim Solbakken, but neither he nor Molde director Ole Erik Stavrum answered his questions.

Brynhildsen has played age-specific national matches for U19, U20, and U21.
