Former TV 2 boss Arne A. Jensen dies

Arne A. Jensen is dead, the family claims. He turned 66.

He was previously editor-in-chief and managing director of TV 2 and later changed his name to Arne Anker-Jensen, writes TV 2. He turned 66.

The family informs TV 2 that he suffered from Alzheimer’s, which he contracted in his early 50s, and that he fell asleep peacefully with the family around him.

Anker-Jensen was editor and CEO of TV 2 from 1993 to 1999.

After joining the channel, he served as CEO of Braathens Airline from 1999 until SAS acquired the company in 2001.

He obtained a master’s degree in economics from NHH and was a lawyer in 1979 and held various management positions in Norwegian business and industry.
