Jeremy Corbyn, a former leader of the UK Labor Party, was suspended from the party following a report that revealed on Thursday that Labor had violated anti-Semitism-related laws under his leadership.

Reports Sky News.

“In light of his comments today, and which he has not withdrawn since then, the Labor Party has suspended Jeremy Corbyn pending investigation,” a party spokesman said according to Sky News.

Nor is it any more the Labor “whip”, which ensures that a sufficient number of members of party groups show up to vote in parliament.

Corbyn, who resigned as leader in April, is said to have called the complaints under his leadership “exaggerated.”

New Labor leader Keir Starmer has admitted that the party has failed Jews after a report on Thursday revealed that the party had violated laws related to anti-Semitism under the leadership of Jeremy Corbyn.

Starmer says he fully accepts the report and will introduce the actions recommended in the report immediately.

– This is a shameful day for Labor. We have failed the Jewish people, our members, our supporters and the British public, says Starmer.

The Equality and Human Rights Commission (ECHR) has been investigating anti-Semitism in the party for two years. During the Corbyn administration from 2015 to 2019, the party has on several occasions, among other things, downplayed, rejected or ignored complaints from Jewish party members, according to the report.
