The farmer’s dream came true for Jens-Aleksander Simonsen (26), but now at least he can see other interesting offers.
Vågå farmer Trine Turtum (25) decided on Monday to send Simonsen home from the farm. Simonsen himself sensed that it was going that way, so he had packed his luggage and had it prepared before the “election ceremony.”
– The defeat was not very hard. It must be a way of how much excitement can come up in a week, he tells VG.
But he was disappointed, right there.
– We spend little time together. A lot was going to happen in a short time, and I probably never got to know Trine. But anyway, it was a decent experience to be with him.

Simonsen says on television that it is dangerous to live alone for too long, because then he can become “a little bit of himself.” He does not imagine an eternal single life.
– But it may already be a little mine, he tells VG and laughs out loud.
If Simonsen was unsuccessful in the TV test, other opportunities have opened up. In fact, it has come up with messages from viewers who would like to be known.
– At least the stay at Trine’s farm has saved me a few months with a Tinder Pluss subscription! he smiles.

Simonsen still feels like he’s been like himself.

Simonsen hopes that he will appear on television soon. VG has previously mentioned that he ran for “Farmen” last year. So, however, only his father was able to join.
– Now that I have gained experience on farms with Trine, then I may have a better basis to apply to “The Farm” next year. I’m ready!

Turtum, who was considering retiring before the recording, thought it was more difficult to send home freer than he had imagined.
– When at first I had doubts about everything, I thought it would be better to send them home. Instead, he got a little sad, actually. OR difficult, is probably a better word. I became more positive towards suitors after a while, she tells VG.

Ronny Stokland (39) also suffered the electoral elimination on Monday. VG has previously mentioned the Klepp farmer who invited a 20-year-old suitor, as well as a suitor who has ten children, to the farm.
However, Stokland makes decisions in a non-traditional way, that is, by pushing everyone away. He freaked out a bit after the first test.
– It was the worst choice, when I stood in front of everyone. That was bullshit. Very impersonal, in a way, he tells VG.
– I wanted to sit down with everyone and talk privately before firing them. It was a better way, thinks the farmer.

– They said I could do whatever I wanted, so it was okay to scrub. In fact, I think the ladies preferred it that way too.

On Monday, it was Mariann Tjørn (39) from Ualand who had to travel. She originally came via Skype-date. The farmer concluded that there was more friendship than potential boyfriend in the acquaintance.
Thorn wiped away a few tears when he finished, but he wished the other women good luck.
– I treat Ronny in the best way, he told the television camera.
