The article claims that Biden’s son introduced the father of a Ukrainian businessman when the vice president was responsible for US relations with Ukraine.
It is further claimed that Joe Biden must have taken his son’s business interests into account when handling diplomatic relations between countries. Hunter Biden has served on the board of directors of the Ukrainian energy company Burisma.
FBI investigation
The newspaper writes that it received the hard drive with the emails from Trump’s attorney, Rudy Giuliani. The disk is said to have originated from a laptop that had been in a computer store in the state of Delaware for a year, where the PC was returned for repair but was never recovered.
The special story about the discovery is said to be part of the reason the FBI is now investigating the case as a possible Russian-influenced operation.
