Eric Trump vs. Scottish politician – Freser:

[ad_1]

The Guardian writes that Eric Trump accuses Scottish politicians of “promoting personal agendas” because they want to investigate Donald Trump’s financing of golf courses.

It is Patrick Harvie, leader of the Scottish Green Party, who has asked Parliament to discuss the matter. He wants Prime Minister Nicola Sturgeon to investigate both this golf resort in Aberdeenshire and another in Ayrshire.

Harvie is branded a “national disgrace” by the former president’s son.

“He is nothing more than a national shame with these pathetic accusations that only benefit him and his political agenda,” Eric Trump was quoted as saying by the newspaper.

Thunder

Trump has built a luxury golf facility in Aberdeenshire, Scotland. The golf course has long been controversial, in part because the dunes have lost their protected status after the construction of the complex.

He believes this should be implemented to shed light on Trump’s “gray zone trade.”

So this is causing Eric Trump to thunder.

– At a critical time when politicians should focus on saving lives and reopening the business community, they are more focused on promoting personal agendas, he says.

Trump further believes that the company to his father, by investing hundreds of millions of dollars, has raised the city of Turnberry, in addition to creating thousands of jobs and contributions to the tourism industry in the areas.

Under investigation

Trump’s company is under investigation in the United States. This has been the case since 2019. The investigation began after Trump’s former personal attorney, Michael Cohen, testified in Congress.

There, Cohen claimed that Trump overstated the value of some assets in financial documents to obtain new loans and insurance coverage, but that he also underreported the value of other assets to lower property taxes.

The former president has several investigations into irregularities and illegalities related to things that happened before the presidency that hang over him. The investigations focus both on Trump as a private person and what he has done through the Trump Organization.

The most serious case Trump faces comes from New York. Manhattan State Attorney Cyrus Vance has launched a comprehensive investigation into the financial affairs and barn of the Trump Organization.

In court, the prosecution has indicated that the investigation will investigate whether the president and his company have been involved in bank fraud, insurance fraud, tax fraud or falsification of business records.
