NEW YORK (Nettavisen): According to the New York Times, 100 top U.S. executives plan to send a letter to President Donald Trump urging the Trump administration to recognize Joe Biden as president and begin the transition to a new administration.

Requires a confirmation letter
In the letter that senior executives plan to send Monday, they will demand that Emily W. Murphy, who heads the General Services Administration, issue a confirmation letter confirming that Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris have won the election, the newspaper writes.

Murphy has so far refused to enter into talks to start the transition, which, according to the newspaper, includes raising resources and money for the incoming administration so that he can prepare to assume the presidency.
