In the middle of an interview, Donald Trump began to brag about something he should never have talked about.

In the book, Woodward writes that anonymous sources later told him that the US military has a secret weapons system, but could not reveal details about it. Some sources expressed surprise that Trump had revealed it.

Trump also has several statements in the book that will attract attention. The president of the United States is said to have deliberately toned down the coronavirus. According to Woodward, Trump told her that he knew the coronavirus was life-threatening and far more dangerous than a regular flu.

A few weeks later, he admitted to Woodward that he was trying to portray the virus as less dangerous than it was.
– I always wanted to tone it down. I still like to tone it down, because I don’t want to panic, she said in an interview on March 19.
White House spokeswoman Kayleigh McEnany said Wednesday that Trump’s only motive was to make people feel safe.
