When Daniel Viem Årdal entered the “Farmen” estate, he proclaimed himself single. But on Wednesday’s episode, the participants also received letters from those closest to them at home. In this regard, Årdal says, on camera, that he has received a letter from “his beloved”.

– It was very nice to receive letters from all members of the family and from my dear. That means a lot, he said in the episode.

– Did the cat come out of the bag yet, Daniel?

– The answer to that is really that I have become single. I’ve almost always been like that, but I was working on one when I went to “La Granja.” But we finished it when I got home. It’s the short version, he tells VG.

– We were far from each other for a long time and we were very happy with each other. But when I got home, we decided to go our separate ways, he says.

– So it ended as soon as you got home?

– Yes, more or less.

On Sunday, he’s set for another duel in the “Farmen” universe, and once again it’s time for a girls’ match after Inger Cecilie Grønnerød was voted first champion this week. With so few girls left on the farm, Grønnerød has no choice but to pick Karianne Kopperstad (27) for the match.
