Prince Carl Philip (41) and Princess Sofia (35) tested positive for coronavirus. Now several members of the Swedish royal family will be tested.
On Thursday morning, the Swedish royal family claimed on their websites that Prince Carl Philip and Princess Sofia tested positive for the coronavirus.
The prince and princess have mild symptoms, but “feel good about the conditions.”
After they got sick, they were immediately quarantined with their children and infection screening began.
During the day of Thursday, the King, Queen and Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel will be put to the test, he writes Aftonbladet.
– The reason for this is that the family members met last Friday, at the funeral of the queen’s brother. Then they were in the same church room, the court’s communications manager, Margareta Thorgren, tells the newspaper.

Earlier this year, Princess Sofia received a lot of attention when she volunteered to serve as a caregiver to contribute during the corona pandemic.
Soon after, Carl Philip followed him and served as a reserve officer with a bachelor’s degree at the headquarters of the Armed Forces.

Sweden is the country in the Nordic region most affected by the corona pandemic. Earlier this month, the country surpassed 6,000 deaths.
