With 80 percent of all adults vaccinated, Israel is returning to normal. But what about those who don’t want to get vaccinated?

Israel continues vaccination at an enormous rate. Now, more than 60 percent of the population is fully vaccinated, which includes about 80 percent of all adults.

Many will not be vaccinated

While the rest of us wait for vaccines, Israel has entered the next phase of management. Anyone who has been vaccinated or recovered from the coronavirus can get a “Green Pass”, a kind of vaccination card. It provides access, for example, to restaurants, swimming pools, beaches and, in short, it gives people most of the freedom.

The Israeli authorities’ green pass scheme has clearly been a motivational scheme for people to get vaccinated. It is not just an infection control measure in and of itself.

Requirements for coronary vaccination have already been introduced for health system employees. People who do not want to be vaccinated will be transferred to other jobs, where they do not come into contact with people who belong to high-risk groups.

At the time of writing this report, it has around 15,000 members. According to makeup artist Kavnatsky, it is not the efficacy of the vaccine or conspiracies that is at stake.
