This may be good news.
Swedish Danderyds Hospital in Stockholm collected samples from 2,149 employees this spring. Then, antibodies to covid-19 were detected in 19 percent of those tested. Now the hospital has taken testing to a new phase, testing 92 percent of the same group by allowing everyone to take a blood sample.

The results are encouraging. This spring, 405 people had COVID-19 antibodies after testing in the first phase, meaning all 405 people had likely been diagnosed with the coronavirus sometime between January and April, Aftonbladet writes.
– Important step on the road
Test results after phase 2 show that up to 82 percent of the 405 people still have measurable levels of antibodies, at least four months later.
– These are people who have been sick sometime between January and April, and now we can say that most retain their antibodies against sars-cov-2 and therefore it is very likely that they remain immune to covid-19. Since we have a limited knowledge base on immunity and cvoid-19, this is an important step along the way, says Charlotte Thålin, a physician and researcher at Danderyd Hospital, who has also had primary responsibility for the study, for Aftonbladet.
Among the lowest in Europe
At the start of the corona pandemic this spring, the Swedes got very thin not to shut down the partnership. Over a period, they also had the highest death rate from covid-19 relative to the population, and Swedes received international attention, mostly negative, for not closing schools, kindergartens, nightclubs and restaurants.
