The celebrity magazine Tatler claimed, among other things, to know the background of the supposedly tense relationship between Duchess Kate (38) and Duchess Meghan (38).
Four months after the British royal family took the rare step of commenting on an article, Tatler magazine has chosen to remove parts of the original content from its website.
Titled “Catherine the Great,” Tatler filed a lengthy case in May about the Duchess, who is generally called Kate.
«This article contains various inaccuracies and misrepresentations, which were not sent to Kensington Palace prior to publication.“, Reads the official statement of the court.
Now, the Huffington Post and The Telegraph report that several passages from the original article were recently removed, including those that said Kate was furious about the additional workload after Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan withdrew from the royal family and they moved abroad.
“This is an edited version of an article that was published digitally on May 25 and was printed in the July / August print edition,” the article was updated at the end of this week.

Content that Kate’s mother, Carole Middleton (65), is “extremely snobbish” and that Kate is “too thin” has also been removed. The same is the paragraph that said that Kate’s sister, Pippa Middleton (37), behaves “too regal”.
Neither the court nor Tatler have responded to inquiries from other outlets to comment on the development.
The controversial information was initially based on anonymous sources, which the magazine deemed “safe.”
The article claims that Kate and her sister-in-law Meghan, prior to the latter’s wedding in 2018, argued over whether or not bridesmaids should wear nylons. Charlotte, Kate and Williams’ daughter, was among the bridesmaids, and the then three-year-old princess is said to have worn socks, against the bride’s wishes. This is still in the article.

In May, Tatler maintained his article and claimed that the royal house had had an opportunity to comment on the contents, contrary to the court’s statements.
Royals in Britain are used to being spin-off material. Sometimes they also go to court, as Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan have recently done, in part due to a leaked letter. Duchess Kate has also previously sued after being photographed topless.
